Legal

Everything your lawyer will ask.

Who you sign with, which law applies, where your data sits and how to get it back out. Send this page to a legal or IT team and they should not need a second email.

The documents

Three documents.

These are the binding versions, and they are in English only, because a translation of a binding document is a second version of it. The subscription terms are what you accept when you start using the platform.

Privacy Policy

What personal data is collected, why, who it is shared with, where it is processed, how long it is kept, and the rights you have over it.

Read the Privacy Policy

Terms of Service

What the service is, what each side is responsible for, how accounts and workspaces work, the AI disclaimer, and the governing law.

Read the Terms of Service

Platform Subscription Terms

The public offer you accept when you register an organisation: what the licence covers, how plans and properties are counted, the free trial, and how acceptance works.

Questions we get

Before your lawyer asks.

Every answer below is the short version of something written in full in one of the three documents. Where they disagree, the document wins.

Who are we contracting with?

Private Company TREEMA TECH LTD, registered in the DIFC, Dubai. The full registered details — licence number and address — are in the Terms of Service, section 27.

Which law governs the agreement?

The laws of the United Arab Emirates. Disputes fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Dubai International Financial Centre, unless applicable law requires otherwise or we agree otherwise in writing. See Terms, section 26.

Where is our data processed?

Within EMEA. Data may be transferred outside EMEA to IT suppliers acting as our processors, and only where an appropriate level of protection is guaranteed. See Privacy Policy, sections 9 and 12.

Can we export our data?

Yes, at any time — your data stays yours. You can also update, amend or delete information from inside the account, or ask us to do it for you. See Privacy Policy, section 13.

Do you use subprocessors?

Yes. IT suppliers process personal data on our behalf as processors, limited to what they need in order to meet their contractual obligations to us. See Privacy Policy, section 8.

Can Treema run in an isolated environment?

Yes — a private, fully closed environment of your own, at additional cost. Raise it before you sign so it is priced into the agreement rather than added later.

How long do you keep data?

Only as long as necessary for the purposes set out in the Privacy Policy, and as needed to meet legal obligations, resolve disputes and enforce agreements. Usage data is generally kept for a shorter period. See Privacy Policy, section 11.

Do you use cookies?

Yes — cookies and similar technologies such as beacons, tags and scripts, to run the service and to analyse and improve it. Section 4 of the Privacy Policy sets out which and why.

What about AI-generated content?

The Terms carry a specific disclaimer at section 15: AI output can be inaccurate, incomplete or unsuitable for a particular use, and the user stays responsible for decisions, communications, prices and guest commitments. Section 14 covers the same ground for hospitality operations.

Who do we write to about a legal or data question?

support@treema.ai. If your team needs a named contact for a data protection question, ask and we will give you one.

Something not answered here?

If your legal or IT team needs a document that is not on this page, write to us and say what it is. We would rather answer before you sign than after.
